군은 10일 소수 다목적체육관(소수면 소수로 123) 준공식을 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이날 송인헌 괴산군수와 김낙영 괴산군의회 의장 및 군의원, 주요 기관단체장 및 주민 등 250여 명이 참석했다.
행사는 기념식수와 경과보고, 장학금 기탁, 시설 관람 순으로 진행됐다.
소수 다목적체육관은 총사업비 44억 원이 투입됐으며 지상 1층 연면적 845.45㎡ 규모의 근린생활형 체육시설로 조성됐다.
내부에는 탁구, 족구, 배구, 배드민턴 등 다양한 구기 종목이 가능한 다목적 경기장과 무대 시설을 갖췄다.
군은 지난해 소수 다목적체육관을 포함해 총 558억 원 규모의 체육 시설 8개소를 준공하며 대대적인 인프라 확충에 나섰다.
소수 다목적체육관 준공은 청안 반다비 국민체육센터와 송면 복합체육센터, 덕평 다목적체육관, 감물 다목적체육관에 이은 읍·면별 체육 인프라 확충이다.
이어 청천 다목적체육관과 칠성 다목적체육관 시설개보수 등 7곳의 읍·면 체육 인프라 확장에도 354억 원이 투입되고 있다.
괴산 스포츠타운(195억 원), 괴산반다비 국민체육센터(150억 원), 청안 반다비 국민체육센터(80억 원), 송면 복합체육센터(50억 원) 등이 차례로 문을 열며 지역별 균형 있는 생활체육 환경을 구축했다.
