【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충청북도청주교육지원청과 청주시는 3월 10일 청주교육지원청에서 청주온마을배움터의 일환인 「청주형 마을교육회 및 협력학교」사업의 본격적 지원을 앞두고 담당자들과 소통 협의회를 개최하였다.
『청주온마을학교』는 마을교육활동가가 주도하여 청주의 마을 곳곳 학생들을 대상으로 학교 밖 교육활동을 지원하는 민간공모사업이다.
‘청주형마을교육회 및 협력학교’사업은 청주의 각 마을의 주민들과 마을교육활동가, 인근 학교가 함께 협력하는 사업으로서 올해 11개 마을에서 운영할 예정이다.
마을교육회는 올해 5년 차에 접어든 사업으로, 협력학교 교사, 주민자치회, 직능단체, 마을교육활동가, 지역기관 담당자 등이 마을의 문제와 필요를 함께 고민하며 마을이 건강하고 안전하며 즐거운 교육의 장이 되도록 함께 협력한다.
청주교육지원청은「실용과 포용의 청주교육」을 실천하고자 지난 2월 공모심사를 통해 청주형 마을 교육회 11개소를 선정하였다. 다문화, 이주민, 탈북인 자녀, 장애학생 등 모든 학생을 대상으로 프로그램으로 기획하도록 하였다.
교육활동으로는 독서활동, 몸활동, 창의미술, 역사명소체험, 생태가꾸기와 환경캠페인, 공예품만들기, 진로체험, 댄스, 드론자격증 준비 등 학생들이 원하는 내용을 구성하고 다채롭고 질 높은 프로그램을 운영하고자 준비하고 있다.
이번 연수에는 집행을 위한 회계교육과 각 개소의 우수사례를 소개하여 기관끼리 배울 수 있는 소통 협의회 시간을 가졌다.
최동하 청주교육지원청교육장은 “올해 새롭게 구성된 오창, 강내, 수름마을 등을 포함한 11개 마을에서 이루어지는 마을교육회가 협력학교와 연합하여 마을의 학생들에게 체계적이고 지속적인 교육적 지원이 활성화될 수 있도록 시청과 함께 관심과 다양한 노력으로 함께 하겠다”라고 하였다.
