4개 분과 전문 체계 가동… 대구 금호워터폴리스가 전진기지
이번에 출범한 협의회는 실질적인 성과를 위해 4개 분과로 세분화되어 운영된다.
제1분과(브랜드·디자인)는 한류와 연계한 글로벌 브랜드화를 추진하고 제2분과(제조·유통)는 스마트 제조 및 유통 구조 혁신, 제3분과(AI·첨단기술)의 경우, AI 기반 안광학 기술 개발에, 제4분과(집적지 활성화)는 대구 안경특구 및 금호워터폴리스 고도화를 지향한다.
특히 한국안광학산업진흥원 김종한 원장은 주제 발표를 통해 “2034년 7조원 규모로 성장이 기대되는 안경 산업의 구조적 위기를 극복하기 위해 대구의 금호워터폴리스를 노후 산단의 한계를 넘어서는 전진 거점으로 삼겠다”는 구체적 로드맵을 제시했다.

이날 행사장에는 국민의힘 이인선, 신동욱, 최은석, 김재섭 의원은 물론 개혁신당 이준석 의원까지 참석해 ‘K-아이웨어’에 대한 높은 정치적 관심을 증명했다. 산업통상자원부와 문화체육관광부 등 정부 관계자 및 업계 인사 100여 명이 집결해 성황을 이뤘다.
