【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=옥천군 동이면 지역사회보장협의체는 13일 사회복지공동모금회 연합모금사업의 일환으로 환절기 건강관리와 쾌적한 생활을 돕기 위해 관내 취약계층 15가구에 계절 침구를 지원했다.
이번 사업은 평소 이불교체가 필요했지만 이불구입이 곤란한 저소득 취약계층을 동이면 지사협 위원들로부터 추천받아 선정되었으며 선정된 대상자들에게 협의체 위원들이 안부확인을 하며 직접 배부하여 지역사회 내 따뜻한 정을 나누었다.
연합모금사업은 충북사회복지공동모금회 연합모금을 통해 동이면 지역사회보장협의체로 기탁한 기부금을 재원으로 추진하는 사업으로 올해는 저소득가구 반찬지원, 어버이 날 “효”꾸러미 지원, 취약계층 문화 체험 등 7개 사업에 1천4백여만원을 편성하여 동이면 지역사회보장협의체에서 직접 추진한다.
동이면 지역사회보장협의체 이문순 민간위원장은 “각 기관과 업체 그리고 주민들이 기부해주신 소중한 모금액으로 우리지역의 어려운 취약계층을 위해 다양한 복지사업을 펼칠 수 있어 매우 감사하게 생각한다. 앞으로도 동이면 지역사회보장협의체를 더욱 알차고 내실 있게 운영하여 복지사각지대가 없는 동이면이 될 수 있도록 더욱 최선을 다하겠다.”고 전했다.
