【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충주시는 16일 시청 중회의실에서 ‘의료·요양 통합돌봄사업 수행기관 업무협약’을 체결하고 지역 중심 돌봄 체계 구축에 본격적으로 나선다고 밝혔다.
이번 협약은 오는 3월 27일 시행되는 「의료·요양 등 지역 돌봄의 통합지원에 관한 법률」에 맞춰, 돌봄이 필요한 어르신이 병원이나 시설이 아닌 지역사회에서 안정적으로 생활할 수 있도록 지역사회 기반 돌봄 체계 구축을 위해 마련됐다.
협약에는 충주시와 지역 돌봄 수행기관 6개소가 참여했으며, 참여기관은 △구구 팔팔 방문요양센터 △동행투게더 △(사)대한미용사회 충주시지부 △㈜사람인 충주 돌봄 △(사)서로돕기시민협회 △충주시니어클럽이다.
협약에 따라 충주시는 통합 돌봄이 필요한 대상자를 발굴·선정하고, 대상자의 건강 상태와 생활 여건 등을 고려해 지원계획을 수립한 뒤 필요한 서비스를 수행기관에 의뢰한다.
수행기관은 의뢰받은 대상자의 복합 욕구에 맞는 통합적 맞춤형 돌봄 서비스를 제공하게 된다.
이번 협약으로 가사 지원, 방문목욕, 주거환경 개선, 이동지원, 이·미용, 식사 지원 등 통합 돌봄 일상생활 지원 서비스가 본격 추진된다.
이를 통해 어르신 돌봄 공백을 해소하고, 사업별로 분절 운영되던 다양한 돌봄 서비스를 통합 연계하는 재가 중심 돌봄 체계를 강화할 계획이다.
김진석 충주시장 권한대행은 “이번 협약을 통해 지역의 다양한 돌봄 기관과 협력 체계를 강화해 어르신이 살던 곳에서 건강하고 안전하게 생활할 수 있는 통합 돌봄 기반을 마련하겠다”며 “앞으로도 지역 특성에 맞는 <가까이 봄 충주형 통합 돌봄> 정책을 지속적으로 발굴하고 확대하겠다”고 말했다.
충주시는 협약 이후 4월부터 통합 돌봄 서비스를 본격 제공하며, 대상자 발굴과 서비스 연계, 모니터링을 통해 사업을 안정적으로 운영할 계획이다.
