오산시, 세교6단지 진입램프 정비 완료

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=오산 이현준기자] 오산시는 서부로 통제 이후 우회 차량이 집중되면서 정체와 사고 우려가 제기된 세교6단지 남측 진입 램프 구간에 대한 개선 작업을 마쳤다.

시는 오산대역로에서 서부로로 진입하는 구간의 교통 흐름을 원활하게 하기 위해 차선 재도색과 교통안전시설물 재설치를 완료했다.

해당 구간은 최근 우회 차량 증가로 교차로 혼잡이 심화되고 진입 차량 간 충돌 위험이 지적되어 온 곳이다. 이에 이권재 시장과 오산경찰서 등은 지난 13일 합동 현장 점검을 실시해 실제 교통 흐름과 맞지 않는 차로 운영 방식과 안전시설 배치를 확인했다.

시는 점검 결과를 바탕으로 램프 진입 차량의 합류를 유도하는 차선 재정비 등 개선 작업을 진행해 15일 정비를 완료했다. 아울러 시는 오는 5월 중 금암교차로에서 가장교차로를 잇는 임시 우회도로를 개통해 교통량 분산 효과를 높일 예정이다.
