(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천해양경찰서가 지난 27일 해양사고 대응역량 강화를 위한 ‘2026년 1분기 수난대비기본훈련’을 실시했다고 밝혔다.
인천해경에 따르면, 인천해양경찰서 주관으로 진행된 이번 훈련에는 실제 해상에서 발생할 수 있는 복합 재난 상황에 대비하기 위해 도상훈련 방식으로 진행 됐으며, 3월과 7월 사이 빈번히 발생하는 짙은안개 속에서 낚시어선 화재가 발생한 상황을 가정하여 실시됐다.
특히, 시계 확보가 어려운 환경 속에서 신속한 상황 전파와 유관기관 간 협업체계 점검에 초점을 맞췄다.
이날 훈련에는 중구청, 중부소방서, 중구보건소, 인천방어사령부, 길병원, 인천시의료원, 해양환경공단, 인천어선안전조업국 등 8개 유관기관이 참여하여 사고 발생 시 단계별 대응 절차와 역할 분담을 점검했다.
양종타 서장은 "이번 훈련은 저시정이라는 악조건 속에서의 해양사고 대응능력을 실전적으로 점검하는데 의미가 있으며, 다양한 유관기관과의 협력 절차를 숙달함으로써 실제 사고 발생 시 신속하고 체계적인 대응이 가능하도록 준비를 강화하고 있다"고 밝혔다.
인천해경은 앞으로도 실제 상황에 준하는 다양한 훈련 시나리오를 적용하여 해양 안전 역량을 높여 나갈 계획이다.
