<브레이크뉴스 가평 = 이용하 기자> 가평군은 다가오는 여름철 폭염으로 인한 농업인들의 온열질환 예방과 안전사고 방지를 위해 농작업 안전물품을 긴급 보급했다고 23일 밝혔다.
군은 여름철 밭일 중 발생하기 쉬운 체온 상승과 응급 상황에 선제적으로 대응하고자 지난 22일 관내 18농가를 대상으로 1차 물품을 우선 공급했다. 지원된 물품은 △안전보호구함 △폭염응급키트 △이동형 아이스박스 등 3종 세트로 구성됐다.
보급된 안전보호구함에는 쿨토시, 쿨스카프, 모자 등 필수 개인 보호장비가 알차게 담겨 있으며, 폭염응급키트는 현장에서 응급 상황 발생 시 신속한 초기 조치가 가능하도록 꾸려졌다. 또한, 함께 제공된 이동형 아이스박스는 시원한 음료 보관을 통해 체온 저감에 큰 도움을 줄 것으로 기대된다. 가평군 농업기술센터는 이번 1차 지원을 시작으로 추가 수요조사를 거쳐 안전물품 보급을 점진적으로 확대해 나갈 계획이다.
