서해지방해양경찰청은 오는 6월 19일까지 약 두 달간 관내 유·도선과 수상레저 사업장 등 다중이용시설을 대상으로 '봄철 해양사고 예방 집중안전점검'을 실시한다고 22일 밝혔다.
이번 점검은 해양 활동이 본격화되는 4월 20일부터 시작되어 총 61일간 이뤄진다. 실효성 있는 점검을 위해 서해해경은 내부 인력뿐만 아니라 ▲해양수산청 ▲지방자치단체 ▲소방서 등 유관기관 전문 인력과 ▲국민안전관찰단 소속 민간 전문가가 참여하는 '범정부 합동 점검반'을 구성했다.
