【브레이크뉴스 울진】이우근 기자= 남부지방산림청 울진국유림관리소(소장 전상우)는 이달 16일 부터 오는 5월31일 까지 봄철 산림 내 불법행위 특별단속을 실시한다고 9일 밝혔다.
울진국유림관리소에 따르면 이번 특별단속은 캠핑 금지지역(산림유전자원보호구역) 내 캠핑과 쓰레기 투기 등이 등이 예상됨에 따라 산림특별사법경찰을 포함한 기동단속반(공무원 3명, 일반인 23명)을 편성하여 동절기 산림 내 불법행위 특별단속을 추진할 계획이다.
특히 산림 내 취사행위, 오염물질 투기행위에 대한 집중단속을 실시하고 불법행위가 적발될 경우 관련법에 따라 엄중 조치할 방침이다.
또한, 산불조심기간임을 고려하여 산불예방활동 및 쓰레기 등 불법소각 단속과 병행할 계획이다.
전상우 울진국유림관리소장은 “겨울철 노지캠핑을 할 경우 고립, 동사 등 많은 위험요인이 있으므로, 캠핑장이나 국립자연휴양림 이용을 부탁드린다.”고 말했다.
