브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 이준석 국민의힘 대표가 26일 "제가 과장하고 싶은 생각이 없고, 과장하는 스타일도 아닌데 제가 들었던 내용들로 하면 (윤석열 전 검찰총장의) 입당은 확실하다고 본다"고 밝혔다.
이준석 대표는 이날 당 최고위원회의가 끝난 후 기자들을 만난 자리에서 "8월 중에 입당을 안 하고 경선열차가 출발하게 되면, 당내에서 당연히 제명 조치하는 여론이 나올 수밖에 없다. (캠프에 합류한 당협위원장들이) 8월 입당을 확신하기 때문에 그러는 것이 아니겠냐고 이해한다고 했다"며 이같이 말했다.
