브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 장성민 국민의힘 대선 예비후보는 3일 윤석열 전 검찰총장의 '고발 사주' 의혹에 대해 "사실이라면 정권교체를 갈망하는 거대한 흐름에 블랙홀 현상을 가져올 수 있다"고 우려했다.
장성민 후보는 이날 MBC라디오 '김종배의 시선집중'에 출연해 "윤석열 후보가 이 문제를 아주 적극적으로 대응해야 한다. 한점 부끄러움 없이 철저하게 해명해야 된다"며 이같이 밝혔다.
앞서 인터넷매체 뉴스버스는 검찰이 지난해 총선을 앞두고 당시 미래통합당에게 유시민 노무현재단 이사장, 최강욱·황희석 당시 열린민주당 비례대표 후보 등을 고발하도록 사주했다고 보도했다. '검언유착' 등의 보도로 윤석열 전 총장과 부인 김건희 씨, 그리고 윤 전 총장 최측근인 한동훈 검사장 등이 피해를 봤다는 이유에서다. 보도에는 당시 손준성 대검 수사정보정책관이 고발장의 고발인란을 비워 김웅 의원에게 전달했다는 내용이 담겼다.
이에 대해 장성민 후보는 "이진동 뉴스버스 발행인과 직접 통화했는데, 이 사건은 윤석열 전 총장의 지시 없이는 있을 수 없는 청부고발이고, 검찰에서 컴퓨터를 공개하면 전부 밝혀지게 된다고 말해 큰 충격을 받았다"라고 전했다.
이어 그는 "윤석열 전 총장은 좋든 싫든 야권의 첫 번째 주자이기 때문에 당에 굉장한 타격이 올 수 있다"며 "그러니 윤 전 총장이 당 지도부에 직접 가서 해명하고 국민 앞에 직접 나서서 해명하는, 그런 의혹 제거 과정이 필요하다"고 강조했다.
그는 또한 "민주당이 이 문제에 대해 정치적 공세를 너무 강화하면 오히려 여당 쪽에서 조작한 게 아니냐는 역풍이 불 수 있다"면서 "이 문제는 수사를 하면 전부 드러날 것이기 때문에 크게 여당은 정치 공세를 하는 것은 하지 말아야 한다"고 경고했다.

"Former President Yoon Seok-yeol is the first runner of the opposition camp whether he likes it or not, so it could be a huge blow to the party. So, we need a process to remove such suspicions by going directly to the party leadership and explaining it to the public."
"If the Democratic Party strengthens its political offensive on the issue too much, there could be a backlash that the ruling party manipulated," he said. "The ruling party should not make a major political offensive because the investigation will reveal everything."
