국민의힘 대구 국회의원 11명, '대구시 조정대상지역 지정 해제 촉구'

국민의힘 추경호 대구시당위원장(달성군)이 대구시 조정대상지역 지정 해제를 위한 공동 건의서를 국토부에 전달했다.

추경호 위원장은 20일 오전 8시 노형욱 국토교통부 장관을 직접 만나 대구시 조정대상지역 지정 해제와 관련하여 대구지역 국회의원의 뜻을 담은 공동 건의서를 전달했다고 전했다.

국토부는 지난해 12월 달성군 일부 지역을 제외한 대구시 전역을 조정대상지역으로 지정했다.

그러나 최근 대구 주택 시장은 집값 하락, 미분양 등으로 침체가 본격화되고 있어 조정대상지역 해제가 절실한 상황이다.

이 가운데 대구지역 국회의원들은 “대구의 아파트 미분양은 전국에서 가장 심각한 수준”이라고 강조하며 대구시 전역의 조정대상지역 지정 해제를 건의했다.

추 위원장은 이와 같은 요구에 대해 노 장관이 "시장 상황을 면밀히 점검하고, 잘 살펴보겠다"고 답했다는 소식을 전했다.

한편 조정대상지역 지정 해제 여부는 국토교통부는 이달에 열리는 주거정책심의위원회에서 다뤄질 예정이다.
