대구대 창파연구원, 성과보고회 개최

대구대학교(총장 김상호) 창파연구원이 대학 건학이념 계승과 특성화 실천방안의 일환으로 성과보고회를 개최했다.

2019년에 설립된 창파연구원은 특수교육, 사회복지, 재활과학 등 융·복합연구를 중심으로 연구와 사회봉사 분야에 주력하면서 대학의 설립이념에 부합하고 있는 대표적인 연구기관이다.

13일 성산홀 대회의실에서 열린 성과보고회에서는 지난 3월 시작된 창파연구원 과제 공모 중 융복합 연구, 사회봉사 및 평전 저술 등 3개 분야에서 지정된 총 8,600여만 원의 6개 연구과제에 대한 성과 발표가 이어졌다.

이대식 창파연구원장은 “이번 연구 성과를 토대로 지속적으로 사회봉사 및 건학정신 관련 과제를 발굴하고 지원해 우수한 연구 플랫폼을 완성해 나갈 계획이다”며 “연구원 내 각종 연구소의 설립 추진과 전임연구원을 확보해 국가지원사업 및 지역단체 협업사업 등을 추진함으로써 대구대의 위상 제고에 역점을 두겠다”고 말했다.

한편 창파연구원은 단계적으로 연구원 내 학문 분야별 연구소를 설치하고 융복합 연구가 가능한 연구 전담 교원의 충원과 재정 규모를 증대해 연구·사회봉사 시스템을 갖춰 건학이념 계승 발전을 주도할 것으로 기대된다.
