계명대, 신영증권과 업무협약 통해 계획기부 활성화에 나서

계명대(총장 신일희)와 신영증권(대표이사 황성엽)이 유산기부신탁을 통한 계획기부의 활성화를 위해 업무협약을 체결했다.

18일 오후 12시 계명대 성서캠퍼스 본관 제1회의실에서 체결된 업무협약식은 신일희 계명대 총장과 황성엽 신영증권(주) 대표이사를 비롯한 관계자들이 참석한 가운데 진행되었다.

이날 협약을 통해 양 기관은 계획기부자를 발굴 및 연계하고, 유산기부신탁 프로그램을 운영하며 대중에게 홍보하는 등 다양한 활동을 펼치기로 약속했다.

신일희 계명대 총장은 “이번 협약은 어떤 협약보다 학생들에게 직접적인 영향을 미치고 양질의 교육을 제공할 수 있다는 것에 큰 의미를 가진다.”며, “대학을 적극적으로 지원해 주시고 도움을 주시기로 한 것에 대해 감사의 뜻을 전하며, 양 기관이 함께 발전할 수 있는 계기가 되길 바란다.”고 말했다.

황성엽 신영증권 대표이사는 “고령사회 진입과 함께 웰다잉(well-dying)이 중요한 화두로 떠오르며, 유산을 기부하고 싶어하는 사람들이 늘어나고 있다.”며, “유산기부신탁을 통해 부동산, 주식 등으로 기부 재산의 폭을 넓히고, 기부의지를 쉽게 실현하도록 함으로써, 유산 기부가 활성화 될 것으로 기대한다.”고 밝혔다.
