한민정 정의당 대구시당위원장, 대구시장 출마 선언

한민정 정의당 대구시당위원장이 “일하는 모든 노동자를 위한 대구시장이 되겠다”며 대구광역시장 후보 출마를 공식선언했다.

한민정 위원장은 28일 오전 대구시청 앞에서 기자회견을 열고 오는 6월 치러질 전국동시지방선거 대구시장 후보에 출사표를 던졌다.

그는 “세상의 변화를 갈망하던 어린 시절 첫 마음을 새기며, 지난 30년 지역 활동을 자산으로 대구시장에 출마한다”면서 “일하는 모든 사람들을 위한 대구시장이 되겠다”는 포부를 전했다.

이어 “대구시는 중대재해 예방을 위한 조례도 없고, 청년을 위한 일자리도 없으며, 자동차부품산업 등 산업전환에 따른 대책마저 부족하며, 공공의료가 제 역할을 하지 못하고 있다”며, “일하는 사람들을 위한 정책과 시스템이 없다”고 대구시를 진단했다.

한 위원장은 “일하는 모든 사람을 위해 ‘노동안전보건조례제정’, ‘청년노동센터 설립’, ‘정의로운 전환기금 마련’, ‘제2의료원 설립’ 등을 약속드린다”며, “대구시노동정책기본계획을 수립하고 대구시에 노동국을 신설하여 노동이 당당한 대구를 만들겠다”고 다짐했다.

한 위원장은 20년간 대구지역 청소년단체의 청소년지도사로 활동하였으며, 2014년 지방선거를 통해 정치에 입문하여 2020년 국회의원선거에 출마하였으며, 달서구지역위원장을 거쳐 현재 정의당 대구시당 위원장을 역임하고 있다.
