국민의힘 구자근 국회의원(구미갑)이 4일 “전세버스 기사와 법인택시에 대한 방역지원이 필요하다”고 주장하며 지원 촉구에 나섰다.
정부는 코로나19 방역조치로 피해가 큰 소상공인들을 지원하기 위해 추경예산을 통해 9조원을 웃도는 방역지원금을 편성했다.

이 가운데 구자근 의원은 국회 상임위 중기부 추경예산심의에서 전세버스 기사와 법인택시에 대한 지원이 빠진 사실을 확인하고 이를 지적하며 대책 마련을 촉구하며 나섰다.
그는 “현재 정부의 ‘소상공인 방역지원금’이 소상공인과 소기업을 대상으로만 지급하다보니 정작 방역정책으로 인해 피해가 큰 전세버스와 법인택시의 운전자의 경우 지원을 받지 못하고 있다.”고 꼬집었다.
전세버스와 법인택시의 경우 소기업(운수업은 80억원 이하)에 해당되어 소상공인 방역지원금 기준으로 업체별로 3백만 원을 지원하더라도 정작 운전을 하는 당사자들은 지원을 받을 수 없게 되는 실정이다.
구자근 의원은 “노선버스의 경우 코로나19 장기화로 노선버스 승객이 감소하여 운수종사자의 일시휴직 등 고용불안정과 함께 노선버스 매출액이 동기 대비 34% 가량 줄었다.”면서 “지난 해 버스기사의 경우 소득이 감소한 노선버스 및 전세버스 기사 총 9.2만 명에게 기사 1인당 80만원, 총 736억 원을 재난지원금의 형태로 지원한 바 있는 만큼 이번 추경을 통한 지원이 필요하다”고 설명을 이어갔다.
또한 그는 “개인택시 종사자는 1인당 3백만 원을 지급받지만 법인택시 운수종사자들은 방역지원금 지급대상에서 제외되어 형평성 문제가 발생하고 있다.”고 지적했다.
앞서 정부는 개인택시운수종사자와 법인택시 회사에게 100만원을 지원하였으며 이번 추경예산에서도 소상공인으로 분류되는 개인택시 종사자는 1인당 300만원을 지원할 예정으로 알려진다.
이에 구자근 의원은 “정부의 추경지원안에는 형평성의 문제가 있다”면서 추경심사를 통해 피해지원 사각지대에 있는 업종에 대한 정부 지원을 촉구했다.

Previously, the government provided 1 million won to individual taxi operators and corporate taxi companies.
In response, Rep. Ja-geun Koo said, "There is a problem of equity in the government's supplementary budget support plan."
