대구광역시선거관리위원회는 제20대 대통령선거 사전투표소에서 기표한 투표지를 촬영하고 SNS에 공개한 A씨 등 3명을 고발했다고 밝혔다.
A씨 등은 기표소 안에서 기표 후 본인의 휴대전화로 투표지를 촬영하고 본인 계정의 인스타그램 또는 특정 후보자 지지단체 카카오톡 오픈대화방에 투표지를 게시하여 공개한 혐의를 받고 있다.

공직선거법에 따르면 누구든지 기표소 안에서 투표지를 촬영할 수 없고, 선거인은 자신이 기표한 투표지를 공개할 수 없다. 투표지를 촬영한 사람은 2년 이하 징역 또는 400만원 이하 벌금에, 투표의 비밀을 침해한 사람은 3년 이하의 징역 또는 600만원 이하의 벌금에 처해질 수 있다.
대구시선관위 관계자는 “투표의 비밀 유지와 공정한 투표절차를 방해하는 선거범죄에 대해서는 엄중 조치할 방침”이라고 전하며 “투표소에서 투표지를 촬영하거나 공개하지 않도록 당부드린다”고 말했다.
