경기도 용인시의 코로나19 거점전담병원인 다보스 병원이 경북 울진과 강원 삼척 등 산불 피해 이웃돕기 성금 2천만 원을 기부했다.
희망브리지 전국재해구호협회(회장 송필호)는 다보스 병원이 산불 피해 이웃에 대한 긴급구호와 피해 복구를 위해 사용해 달라며 2천만 원을 전해왔다고 31일 밝혔다.
다보스 병원 양성범 이사장은 “산불 발생 이후 피해가 날로 커지는 상황을 안타까워하며, 산불 피해 주민들에 대한 지원과 빠른 복구를 위해 기부를 결정했다”라고 말했다.
경북 울진과 강원 삼척 등 이재민 보호 시설에서 현장 지원 활동을 펼친 희망브리지 김정희 사무총장은 “산불 피해 주민들에 대한 다보스 병원 임직원들의 따뜻한 온정에 감사하다"고 고마움을 전하며 신속한 피해 지원과 복구에 대한 의지를 나타냈다.
희망브리지는 이 같은 사회 각계각층의 기부 행렬 동참으로 23일 오전 9시까지 △생필품과 의류가 포함된 이재민 구호 키트 6만 5000세트 △대피소 칸막이 94동 △방한의류 1만 500벌을 비롯해 방역마스크와 식품, 음료 등 총 24만 6000여 점의 물품 지원을 이재민들에게 전했다. 앞으로도 임시주거시설과 식료품, 의류, 침구류 등을 지원하는 한편 이재민들이 일상으로 돌아갈 수 있도록 인명‧주택 피해 지원과 심리 회복 지원 등에 성금을 사용할 계획이다.
