브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 이랜드그룹은 지난달 29일과 30일 양일간 코로나19 재택치료 취약계층을 돕기 위한 응원키트 나눔 봉사를 진행했다고 1일 밝혔다.
이날 이랜드그룹 임직원은 서울시 금천구 가산동에 위치한 이랜드재단 사옥에서 재택치료에 필요한 ‘코로나19 응원키트’를 제작하고, 전국 저소득층 한부모, 다문화 1500개 가정에 배송하는 자원봉사에 참여했다.
이랜드재단에서 제작해 지원한 ‘코로나19 응원키트’는 최근 오미크론 변이 바이러스의 확산으로 자가관리, 재택치료 등이 확대되는 가운데, 비상약 구입이 어렵고 건강 및 면역력 관리가 어려운 저소득층 한부모, 다문화가정에게 가장 시급한 물품으로 구성된 나눔 패키지다.

한편, 이랜드그룹은 지난해 임직원과 함께한 천사박스 나눔 캠페인을 통해 저소득층 한부모 1004개 가정에 총 7억 원 상당의 천사박스를 전달한 바 있으며, 사랑의 장바구니 등 임직원 참여형 사회공헌활동을 통해 소외 이웃을 돕고, 지역 사회에 기여하고 있다.
