(브레이크뉴스인천 문광수 기자) 부천시가 지역사회 안전망 구축 및 시민의 정신건강 관리를 위해 비자의(非自意) 입원·외래치료비를 지원하는 ‘마음건강케어’ 사업을 실시하고 있다.
최근 치료받지 않는 정신질환자의 사건·사고로 조현병 및 정신질환에 대한 사회문제가 부각되면서, 미치료 또는 치료중단으로 방치된 정신질환자에 대한 사회안전망을 구축할 필요성이 높아졌다.
또, 정신건강에 대한 인식이 낮아 치료가 필요함에도 적시에 치료받지 못하고 방치되는 경우도 적지 않다.
이에 발병 초기에 집중적인 치료를 유도하고 응급상황 시 입원 치료는 물론 퇴원 후에도 적절하고 꾸준한 치료를 받을 수 있도록 치료비를 지원한다.
지원 대상자는 정신건강복지법에 의한 응급입원자, 행정입원자, 외래치료자, 2022년도 초진자이며 지원 대상 질병은 질병코드 F20~29, F30~39, F40~48, F90~98에 한한다.
지원내용은 2022년 1월 1일부터 정신건강의학과에서 진료받은 치료비 전부 또는 일부를 지원하며, 자세한 사항은 아래 표를 참고하면 된다.

The city of Bucheon is implementing a ‘mind health care’ project that supports non-voluntary inpatient and outpatient treatment costs to build a community safety net and manage the mental health of citizens.

In addition, there are many cases in which people are neglected without timely treatment even though they need treatment due to low awareness of mental health.
Therefore, intensive treatment is induced in the early stage of the onset, and treatment costs are supported so that patients can receive appropriate and consistent treatment after discharge as well as inpatient treatment in case of emergency.
Eligible recipients are emergency inpatients, administrative inpatients, outpatients, and first-time patients in 2022 according to the Mental Health and Welfare Act.
