파주시는 오는 7일까지 노인복지관 및 각 읍·면·동 단체와 협조해 노인 무료급식, 식사배달사업 운영실태 점검을 실시한다고 밝혔다.
시는 결식 우려 어르신에게 안전한 먹거리를 제공하고, 급식의 질을 제고하기 위해 연 2회 운영 실태 점검을 실시하고 있다.

이번 점검에서는 지난 27일부터 수행기관 10개 단체를 대상으로, ▲식재료 보관·검수 및 위생상태 ▲무료급식 대상자 관리 적정성 ▲보조금 처리 적정성 ▲방역수칙 준수 여부 등을 점검하고 있다.
아울러, 이용자들에게 무료급식 만족도 조사를 실시하고, 의견을 적극 수렴해 사업운영의 개선방안을 모색할 방침이다.
한편, 경로식당 무료급식은 파주시노인복지관·파주시문산사회종합복지관 2개소에서 저소득층 어르신을 대상으로 식사를 제공하고 있으며, 저소득 재가노인 식사배달사업은 각 읍·면·동 자원봉사단체 등에서 거동이 불편한 어르신들에게 밑반찬을 제공하고 있다. 파주=박정호기자
