브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 현대자동차가 해외 전기차 정비 서비스 역량 강화에 나선다.
현대차는 전동화 시대에 따른 전기차 정비 역량을 강화하기 위해 전기차 정비 특화 워크숍인 ‘EV 테크 랩(Tech Lab)’을 개최했다고 8일 밝혔다.
다(多) 발생, 고난도 수리 중심의 전기차 정비 특화 워크숍을 통해 해외 전기차 정비 서비스 인력을 육성, 최고 수준의 고객 만족 전동차 기업으로 자리매김한다는 목표다.
워크숍은 미국, 유럽, 아시아 등 해외 전기차 서비스 부문 핵심 정비 인력 25명을 한국으로 초청해 지난달 28일부터 이달 6일까지 총 9일간 진행됐다.
교육은 현대차 소속의 자동차 정비 부문 대한민국 명장 등 국내 및 해외 우수 서비스 인력 주도로 실시됐다.
구체적으로는 △고난도 및 다(多) 발생 정비 실사례를 실습하고, 국별 참가자의 정비 사례를 교류하는 ‘EV Tech 트레이닝’ △최신 정비 기술 동향에 대해 학습하는 ‘EV Tech 스터디’ △울산공장, 전기차 특화 서비스 거점, 현대 모터스튜디오 고양, 제네시스 수지 등 현장 거점을 방문하는 ‘EV Tech 익스피리언스’ 등 참여형 과정으로 구성됐다.
현대차는 전기차 보급 확대 글로벌 트렌드에 따라 체계적인 전기차 정비 서비스의 중요성이 커질 것으로 예상하고 있다. 이에 전문성을 갖춘 정비 인력을 지속 양성하는데 더욱 만전을 기하겠다는 방침이다.
또한, 현대차는 국내외 서비스 부문의 전기차 정비 데이터 분석 역량을 강화해 선제적인 고객 서비스도 제공할 계획이다.
현대차 관계자는 “전기차 정비 기술 분야에서 글로벌 탑 티어로 앞서 나가기 위해 이번 워크숍을 기획했다”며 “앞으로도 해외 고객에 전문적이고 고도화된 전기차 정비 서비스를 제공하기 위해 노력할 것이다”고 말했다.
