【브레이크뉴스 울진】이우근 기자=울진군(군수 손병복)은 지난7월 15일부터 18일까지 포항종합운동장 등 13개소에서 펼쳐진 제60회 경북도민체육대회에 13개 종목438명(임원 190명, 선수 248명)이 참가 출전하여 군부 종합준우승의 목표를 달성했다고 20일 밝혔다.

이번 대회에서 울진군은 육상·골프(시군부 합계 최저타수) 군부 1위, 볼링·배구·소프트테니스·씨름·축구·테니스 종목은 상위권의 성적으로 울진군의 위상을 드높였다.
특히 농구, 육상, 씨름, 탁구, 태권도, 테니스 종목에 출전한 고등부 선수들은 투혼을 발휘하여 울진군이 성과를 올리는데 크게 기여했다.
이번 경북도민체전은 코로나19 이후 3년 만에 정상적으로 개최된 것으로 경북 시군의 1만여명 선수들의 열정적인 대회였다.
