세종시(시장 최민호)가 시정4기 첫 ‘읍면동장 내부공모심사제’를 통해 조치원읍장 등 7명의 읍면동장을 선정하고 2022년 하반기 정기인사에 반영할 예정이라고 28일 밝혔다.
이번 내부공모는 조치원읍, 아름동, 연기면, 부강면, 소정면, 대평동, 다정동 등 8곳을 대상으로 지난 13일부터 15일까지 사흘간 진행했다.
공모에서는 총 28명이 응모해 3.5대 1의 경쟁률을 나타냈으며, 시는 이중 최종적으로 7명의 읍면동장을 선정했다.
선정결과는 ▲4급 김정섭(조치원읍장) ▲4급 황병순(아름동장) ▲5급 이진례(연기면장) ▲5급 임헌관(부강면장) ▲5급 이문희(소정면장) ▲5급 이은주(대평동장) ▲5급 홍한기(다정동장)이다.
내부공모심사는 행정부시장을 위원장으로 하는 내부공모심사위원회를 구성해 인품, 리더십, 조직관리 역량, 주민과의 화합, 시정 및 지역현안 이해도 등을 종합적으로 고려해 적격자를 선정했다.
류임철 행정부시장은 “내부공모심사를 통한 우수한 읍면동장 배치로 주민자치가 더욱 활성화되고 대시민 행정서비스도 한층 향상될 것으로 기대한다”라고 말했다.
