희망브리지가 태풍으로 집을 잃은 포항 시민들에게 따뜻한 식사를 대접했다.
희망브리지 전국재해구호협회(회장 송필호)는 11호 태풍 '힌남노'로 뜻하지 않게 집을 잃은 포항 시민들을 위해 도시락을 제공했다고 9월14일 밝혔다.
이번 도시락은 태풍으로 피해를 입은 포항시 남구의 한 마을에 거주하는 70여 명의 주민에게 지원됐으며돼지 불고기, 배추김치, 미역국 등으로 간소하게 구성됐다.
이번 태풍으로 침수 피해를 본 A씨(72세)는“여전히 마음은 막막하고 집은 아직 정리가 안 됐다”며, “그래도 식사를 할 수 있어 다행”이라고 담담히 말했다. 또한 B씨(68세)는 “도시락 지원에 감사하다”는 뜻을 전했다.
희망브리지는 이날 도시락 지원 외에도 피해 지역 주민들에게 식사와 간식을 지속적으로 지원할 방침이며, 대피소 등에서의 의료 서비스 지원도 계획하고 있다.
