파주시는 지난 20일 ‘2022 찾아가는 도시재생대학 in 파주읍’의 수료식을 갖고 수강생 15명에게 수료증을 수여했다.
이번 강좌는 도시재생 활성화 계획에 따라 4순위 지역인 파주읍 파주리에서 향후 도시재생 사업 추진을 위한 주민역량 강화와 사업 콘텐츠를 발굴하고자 진행됐다.

8월 30일부터 총 4주간에 걸쳐 진행됐으며, 강좌를 통해 파주읍의 도시재생사업에 대한 시민의 관심과 참여를 높이고, 주민참여의 기반을 구축에 기여할 것으로 기대된다.
수료식에서 수강생들은 상권활성화, 환경, 안전, 소통 등 4개 분과를 구성, 분과별 사업계획을 발표했다.
발표 주제는 9월 6일부터 13일까지 진행한 ‘우리 마을알기: 도시재생 활성화구역 파주리 동네 한 바퀴 및 주민 만나기’ 워크숍에서 모아졌다.
또한, 수업 과정이 담긴 영상을 함께 시청하고, 그간의 소감을 나누며 서로 격려하는 시간을 가졌다.
장희진 도시재생지원센터장은 “오는 10월 중 모집할 도시재생대학 심화과정에서 도시재생 사업계획서 작성에 대한 교육이 진행될 예정”이라며, “2023년 다양한 공모사업에 실질적인 도움이 될 것”이라고 말했다.[파주=박정호기자]
