희망브리지 전국재해구호협회(회장 송필호)는 11호 태풍 힌남노 피해지역에 의약품 모음 500세트를 전달했다고 23일 밝혔다.
희망브리지는 지난 21~22일 경북 포항시 남구 구룡포읍 4개 마을과 경북 경주시 1개 마을 이재민들에게 종합비타민, 종합감기약, 파스, 쌍화탕으로 꾸린 의약품 모음과 효모를 전했다.
희망브리지는 의약품 모음이 대피소 생활과 수해 복구 등으로 지친 고령의 이재민들에게 도움이 되기를 기대하고 있다.
이달 초 희망브리지에 수재 의연금 1억원을 기부했던 에스더포뮬러는 고령 이재민들이 변비나 설사 등으로 고생한다는 소식을 접하고 효모를 기부해 나눔의 의미를 더했다.
희망브리지 김정희 사무총장은 “1달 가까이 복구 작업으로 고생하고 있는 이재민들에게 약소하지만 도움이 되기를 바란다”며 “하루빨리 이재민들이 일상으로 복귀할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
