[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 윤영석 의원은 지역현안수요 사업인 물금읍 가촌리 소재의 종합복지허브타운 건립사업 12억원과 재난안전수요 사업인 범어빗물펌프장 제진기 교체공사 8억원 등 20억원의 특별교부세를 확보 했다고 7일 보도자료를 통해 밝혔다.
양산은 지속적인 인구증가로 복지 수요에 대해 기존시설만으로는 감당하기 어려워 복지·문화·여가를 아우르는 허브타운 필요성이 대두됐다. 예산 부족으로 착공하지 못하고 있었던 종합복지 허브타운은 물금읍 가촌에 있는 디자인공원 부지 내에 조성되고 육아종합지원센터·반다비 체육관과 3개의 건물이 유기적으로 연결되어 하나의 건물처럼 통합 활용함으로써 한 공간에서 전 세대의 복지 욕구를 만족시킬 수 있는 복지시설이다.
종합복지허브타운은 ‘2024년 9월 완공할 예정이며, 인근 육아종합지원센터와 반다비 체육센터, 디자인공원 등을 복지타운과 연계해 이 일대를 지역 복지·문화·체육 생활거점으로 활용하겠다는 계획으로, 완공 후 약 100명 정도의 지역 고용 창출 효과가 있을 것으로 예상된다.
