군포시가 주민참여예산 22억8,000만원을 94건의 사업예산으로 최종 확정했다.
군포시는 지난 9월 30일 2023년 예산편성을 위해 주민참여예산협의회 회의를 시청 중회의실에서 개최, 주민참여예산위원회 전체회의 심의를 통과한 94건 22억8,000만원의 주민참여예산을 최종 의결했다.
군포시 주민참여예산협의회는 주민참여예산위원회 위원장, 각 분과위원장 및 주민자치협의회장 등 9명으로 구성됐다. 이날 회의는 2023년도 예산편성을 위한 주민참여예산 대상사업의 확정을 위해 열렸다.
군포시는 지난 2월 23일부터 5월 15일까지 각 동 행정복지센터, 시 홈페이지 등을 통해 주민참여예산사업 제안을 공모했다. 공모결과 총 253건이 접수됐고 신청된 사업에 대해 관련 부서 및 주민참여예산위 분과위원회, 지역회의 등에서 심도 있는 숙의 과정이 진행됐다. 그 결과 추진 가능한 사업은 94건, 22억8,000만원으로 지난 30일 열린 주민참여예산위원회 전체회의에서 대상사업 심의를 완료했다.
올해는 특히 각 동과 주민자치회가 협력하여 마을 발전에 꼭 필요한 사업을 발굴하고 실행하는 협치형 공모사업 분야를 신설하여 공모를 진행하였으며 선정위원회 개최 결과 3개 동의 사업이 선정됐다.
주민참여예산협의회에서 최종 확정된 주민참여예산사업은 12월 의회에서 최종 승인 과정을 거쳐 2023년도 예산에 반영된다.
하은호 군포시장은 ‘주민참여예산제는 예산편성 등 예산 전과정에 주민의 참여를 보장함으로써 재정 운영의 투명성을 높이는 제도’라며 “앞으로도 시민들의 다양한 의견을 수렴하여 효율적으로 재정을 운영해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
