경기도가 경기연구원과 10월 19일 경기도청 북부청사 상황실에서 ‘2023년 경기북부 정책발굴을 위한 정책분야 간담회’를 개최했다.
연제찬 경기도 균형발전기획실장, 이정훈 경기연구원 북부연구센터장, 균형발전기획실 소속 부서장, 정책별 연구위원 등 양 기관 관계자 12명은 간담회에서 민선 8기 경기북부 관련 주요 공약사업 등에 대해 심도 있게 논의하고, 향후 정책발전 방향을 모색했다.
이날 참석자들은 ‘민선 8기 경기도와 북부 10개 시군의 상생발전 전략연구’ 등 주요 연구과제의 추진 방향에 대해 토론하고, 경제·평화·안보 등 경기북부와 관련된 각종 현안에 대해 의견을 교환했다.
또한 자유로운 분위기 속에서 내년도부터 추진할 경기북부 관련 ‘단기 연구과제’ 발굴을 위한 소통의 시간도 함께 가졌다.
경기도는 민선 8기 출범으로 경기북부가 새로운 변화와 기회의 시기를 맞은 만큼, 이번 간담회를 계기로 양 기관의 협력을 더욱 강화해 나갈 방침이다.
연제찬 균형발전기획실장은 “앞으로도 지속적인 노력과 협력의 결실을 통해 새로운 변화·기회의 경기북부를 만들 수 있도록 힘써 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
