의왕시(시장 김성제)가 ‘조선풍류’ 공연을 개최했다.
이번 행사는 (사)한국국악협회 의왕시지부 주관, 경기도 문화의 날 문화예술지원 프로그램으로 10월 21일 저녁 고천체육공원에서 열렸다.

공연에 앞서 한국의 전통 국악기 가야금, 사물놀이 체험 프로그램으로 국악에 대한 시민의 관심과 참여 분위기를 띄웠고, 본 공연에서 JTBC 풍류대장에 출연한 국악창작앙상블 RC9가 흥겨운 무대를 선보였다. 아울러 의왕시립소년소녀합창단과의 콜라보 공연, 꿈누리국악예술단의 공연도 함께 했다.
김성제 의왕시장은 “국악대중화 흐름에 맞춰 기존 공연과 차별된 무대를 만들어 우리 국악공연의 신명과 흥을 선사하는 시간”이라며 “앞으로도 시민들과 함께 할 수 있는 다양한 문화적 시도들을 해나가겠다”고 말했다.

Uiwang-si hosts an exciting fusion traditional music concert ‘Chosun Pungryu’
The city of Uiwang (Mayor Kim Seong-je) held a performance of ‘Joseon Pungryu’.
This event was held at the Gocheon Sports Park on the evening of October 21 as a cultural art support program for Gyeonggi Cultural Day, hosted by the Uiwang City Branch of the Korean Traditional Music Association.
