창원특례시는 3일 주한덴마크대사관저에서 열린 ‘2022 한국-덴마크 그린수소 협의체 워크샵’에 양희창 방산·원자력특보, 류효종 미래전략산업국장 등이 참석해 아이너 옌센 주한덴마크대사로부터 창원의 수소산업 역량에 대해 호평을 받고, 창원과 덴마크의 주요 대학 및 기업 간 수소 비즈니스 교류를 적극 추진하기로 했다고 밝혔다.
덴마크 정부는 풍부한 풍력에너지를 열, 메탄, 수소 등의 다른 에너지(X)로 변환해 저장하는 Power-To-X(이하 PTX) 프로젝트를 집중적으로 추진하고 있으며, 특히 풍력에너지로 수전해를 통한 수소에너지를 공급하는 프로젝트를 통해 2030년까지 5만3,00여개의 일자리 창출을 목표로 하고 있다.

창원시는 3일 주한덴마크대사관저에서 열린 워크샵에 참석해 그간 창원에서 추진된 수소산업 주요 성과와 기업 지원사항, 해외 교류사항 등을 발표했다.
이에 한국의 수많은 지자체 중 수소정책의 시작이 아닌 성과를 도출해낸 최고의 도시라는 점에 아이너 옌센 주한덴마크대사를 비롯한 덴마크 관계자들로부터 찬사와 호평을 받았다.
이날 주한덴마크대사 만찬에서 창원시는 세계 최대 해운사인 덴마크의 머스크사의 친환경 대형 선박 도입과 관련 현재 창원 소재 기업에서 글로벌 조선사에 납품하고 있는 대형 선박용 엔진의 수소 기반 친환경 동력장치 전환 관련 상호 협력 방안을 논의했다.
