브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 현대백화점그룹 계열 ICT전문기업 현대퓨처넷은 9일 보도자료를 통해 한국거래소로부터 ‘2022년도 기업지배구조보고서 공시우수법인’으로 선정됐다고 밝혔다.
한국거래소는 매년 기업지배구조보고서 가이드라인을 준수해 지배구조 현황을 충실하고 투명하게 공시한 코스피 상장사 중 5개 기업을 공시우수법인으로 선정해 시상한다. 현대퓨처넷은 올해 지배구조보고서 의무 제출 기업으로 신규 편입된 130개 기업 중 유일하게 공시우수법인으로 선정됐다.
현대퓨처넷은 보고서 가이드라인을 충실하게 준수하고, 회사의 전반적인 지배구조 사항과 개선 계획을 명확하게 공시해 주주 권익 향상에 기여했다는 평가를 받았다.
이번 수상으로 현대퓨처넷은 △향후 3년간 불성실공시법인 지정 유예 자격 1회 부여 △1년간 변경상장수수료 및 연부과금 면제 △공시의무교육 이수 면제(1년) 등 다양한 수상 혜택을 받게 됐다.
오창호 전략영업실장(상무)은 “투명한 기업지배구조 구축을 위해 올해 내부 체계를 고도화하고 성실한 공시를 위해 노력했다”며 “앞으로도 투자자와 주주의 권익을 보호할 수 있는 정보 제공을 위해 지속적으로 힘 쓸 계획이다”고 말했다.
