갤러리 민정측은 보도자료에서 “오일파스텔 작가 ‘아일렛솔(본명 전은솔)’이 12월 7일부터 24일까지 3주간 서울 종로구 삼청동에 위치한 갤러리 민정에서 개인전 ‘From where i stand’를 개최한다”고 전하고 “아일렛솔 작가는 오일 파스텔과 페인팅 재료를 사용해 쉽게 지나치는 일상 속 풍경을 주제로 그림 활동을 펼치고 있다. 더불어 슈펜, 한맥, 스타벅스 rtd 등 다양한 브랜드들과 일러스트 콜라보를 진행하였으며 까렌다쉬 코리아 공식 인플루언서로 활동 중”이라고 소개했다.
이번 ‘From where I stand’ 전시에서는 “작가가 다녀온 한 달간의 여행에서 보고 느낀 감각들을 표현한 작품 45점이 전시된다”고 알렸다.
아일렛솔 작가는 “이전까지 풍경의 아름다움을 넓은 시선에서 캐치하고자 했다면 이번 전시를 통해 선보일 작품들은 한 달 살기를 통해 새로운 공간이 익숙해지는 순간을 가까운 시선으로 담아낸 작품들”이라고 말했다. 자신이 경험한 이야기들이 모두에게 전달되는 마음으로 전시를 준비했다고 밝혔다.
아일렛솔 작가는 전시회 취지에서 “우리 사회에 모든 이들이 내가 그리는 평범한 일상을 누리길 바란다”라고 말했다. 이에 따라 개인전 수익금 일부를 장애인의 재활과 자립을 위해 푸르메재단에 기부하기로 했다.
