경기도 양평군 서종면에 자리 잡은 ‘오르다온 복합문화공간’은 개발을 시작한지 22년만인 올해 연말에 그 얼굴을 드러낸다.
본지(브레이크뉴스) 지난 2019년 12월24일자는 오르다온 관련 기사에서 “서울에서 가까운 경기도 양평의 청계산 기슭에 위치한 오르다온 복합 문화공간. 계곡의 물소리, 숲 속의 새소리가 함께 일상에 지친 몸과 마음을 쉴 수 있는 자연휴식 공간이다. 다양한 문화체험을 할 수도 있다”고 소개한 바 있다.
양평 오르다온의 경영자인 안경옥 회장의 삶은 자기와의 전쟁에서 이긴 모델이랄 수 있다. 양평 오르다온에, 지금가지 수 백 억 원에 달하는 개발 자금을 투입했다. 그리고 22년(2000년 개발 사업 시작)이라는, 긴 개발 기간이 걸렸다. 이제, 그 길고 긴, 공기를 마무리 하고 복합 문화공간(힐링 공간)을 개장하는 목전에 왔다고 한다.

김구 선생이 '문화강국론'을 폈다. 안경옥 회장의 오랜 기간+자금투척이야말로 민간 사업자의 문화강국 만들기의 하나라고 생각한다. ‘오르다온’은 수목원, 펜션, 한옥 공연장, 카페, 촬영 스튜디오, 식물원, 둘레길 등 볼거리, 즐길 거리 등을 다양하게 갖추었다.
