지난 22일 방영된 TV 조선 예능프로그램 미스터트롯2에서 울산 울주군 운남초등학교 6학년 학생 13살 박성온 군이 부른 나훈아의 (어매)가 세간의 화제이다.
박성온 군의 뛰어난 실력은 다양한 프로그램을 통하여 알려지기 시작하였다. 지난 2021년 1월 KBS 아침마당 (도전! 꿈의 무대에서) 4위를 기록하고 2021년 4월 시작된 종편 MBN의 남성 서바이벌 오디션 프로 보이스킹에서 1라운드를 올 크라운으로 진출하여 2라운드 1대1 지목에서 힙합 뮤지션 양동근과 겨루어 아쉽게 물러났으며 이후 8월 KBS 울산 남구 편에서 우수상을 받았다.
13살 박성온 군의 뛰어난 실력이 빛을 발한 무대는 가수와 가수를 모창하는 모창 자 대결 JTBC 예능 프로그램 히든싱어에서였다. 지난 9월 9일 히든싱어 추석 특집 송가인 편에서 박성온 군은 38대 37의 1표 차로 송가인 가수를 누르고 우승한 것이다.

이어 이어 박성온 군은 지난 11월 18일 각 가수 모창 편에서 우승한 우승자들이 겨루는 최고의 무대 히든싱어7 왕중왕전에서 우승하면서 뛰어난 실력을 인정받았다.
