[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 농촌인력 해소와 밭 농업 기계화율 제고를 위해 올해 예산 3억4000만원을 투입해 맞춤형 농기계 지원사업을 추진한다.
이번 지원대상은 지난해 12월 31일 이전부터 진주시에 주소를 두고, 농어업경영체 육성 및 지원에 관한 법률에 따라 농업경영체로 등록한 농업인, 농업법인, 생산자단체이다.
시는 맞춤형 농기계 지원으로 농업인 농기계 지원 6종(농산물건조기, 보행관리기, 방제용호스릴, 농산물세척기, 동력운반차, 동력경운기) 309대, 고품질 양파·마늘 생산 기계화 지원 2종 5대, 과원 관리 생력 기계화 지원 1종 5대를 지원한다.
지원기준은 정부지원 농업기계 목록집의 기종별 융자지원 한도금액 기준으로 구간별 정액 보조하지만 농기계 구입가격 대비 보조금 지원 비율이 50%를 초과할 수는 없다.
사업 신청을 희망하는 농업인, 농업법인, 생산자단체는 오는 20일까지 주소지 읍·면사무소나 동 행정복지센터에 신청하면 된다.
진주시 관계자는 “지난해 맞춤형 농기계 442대를 지원해 인력부족으로 어려움을 겪고 있는 농업인들에게 도움이 됐다”며 “농업인이 적극 신청할 수 있도록 홍보에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
