과천시 추사박물관이 문화체육관광부 시행하는 ‘2022년 공립박물관 평가인증’ 심사에서 3회 연속 인증기관으로 선정됐다.
과천시 추사박물관은 이번 평가에서 ‘자료수집 및 관리의 충실성’에서 97.5점, ‘전시 개최 및 교육프로그램 실시 실적’에서 92.7점을 받는 등 우수한 성적을 기록했다.
과천시 추사박물관은 지난 2017년과 2019년에 이어 2022년 평가에서도 인증기관으로 선정되며, 법률 시행 후 실시된 3번의 평가에서 모두 인증기관에 선정되는 성과를 거뒀다.
문화체육관광부는 공립박물관 운영 내실화와 대국민 서비스 향상을 위해 공립박물관 등록 후 3년이 지난 박물관을 대상으로 △박물관 설립 목적의 달성도 △조직·인력·시설 및 재정 관리의 적정성 △자료의 수집과 관리의 충실성 △전시 개최 및 교육 프로그램 운영 실적 △공적 책임 등에 대해 평가하고 있다.
이번 평가 인증을 통해 전국의 평가 대상 272개 공립박물관 중 139개 기관이 인증기관으로 선정됐다. 인증 유효기한은 올해 1월 1일부터 2025년 12월 31일이다.
신계용 과천시장은 “과천시 추사박물관이 3회 연속 평가인증기관으로 선정된 것은 꾸준한 특별전 개최, 활발한 교육·체험 프로그램 운영, 체계적인 유물관리 및 학술연구 등 박물관 활성화 노력의 결과”라며, “박물관을 사랑해주신 시민들에게 감사드리며, 앞으로도 시민과 함께하는 추사박물관이 되도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.

The Chusa Museum in Gwacheon City was selected as an accreditation institution for the third consecutive time in the screening of the ‘2022 Public Museum Evaluation and Accreditation’ conducted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
In this evaluation, the Chusa Museum in Gwacheon City recorded excellent grades, such as receiving 97.5 points in ‘faithfulness in data collection and management’ and 92.7 points in ‘performance of holding exhibitions and implementing educational programs’.
