의왕시 생활폐기물수집.운반대행업체(9개사)가 1월 19일 설 명절을 맞이해 취약계층 후원 성금 2,000만원을 의왕시에 전달했다.
이날 전달식은 김성제 의왕시장을 비롯해 대정기업.중앙산업(대표 김춘서), 대우환경기업(대표 우종호), 비지땀협동조합(이사장 표도영), 성일개발(대표 공민수, 박형만), 승화(대표 원명희), 청수산업.동우실업(대표 유성수), 한우개발(부장 박대균)이 참석한 가운데 진행됐다.
의왕시생활폐기물수집.운반대행업체들은 “설 명절을 맞이하여 취약계층에게 따뜻한 온정을 전하는 나눔 실천의 일환으로 성금을 준비했다”며 “앞으로도 지역사회의 어려운 이웃과 함께 할 수 있도록 더욱 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
김성제 시장은 “새해에 보내주신 따뜻한 나눔에 감사드리며 전달받은 후원성금은 도움이 필요한 분들에게 잘 전달하도록 하겠다”고 말했다.
이날 기탁한 성금은 경기사회복지공동모금회에 기탁처리 후 취약계층에게 전달될 예정이다.
