[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시 홍남표 시장이 산하 단체와의 릴레이 간담회를 통해 소통의 시간을 이어가고 있는 가운데 9일 바르게살기운동 창원시협의회와 간담회를 가졌다.
홍 시장은 앞선 7일 이·통장연합회와의 간담회에 이어 두 번째로 진행되는 릴레이 간담회로 이어졌다.
이날 간담회는 바르게살기운동 창원시협의회 허상수 회장과 이영선 여성회장을 비롯 바르게살기운동 창원시협의회 임원진들이 참석해 소통하는 시간을 가졌다.
바르게살기운동 창원시협의회는 진실, 질서, 화합이라는 3대 이념 아래, 더불어 사는 건강한 사회를 만들기 위해 기초질서 지키기, 환경정화 캠페인을 비롯하여 집 고쳐주기, 김장김치 나눔 행사 등 다양한 분야에서 봉사하고 있다.
이날 바르게살기운동 창원시협의회는 시에서 추진하고 있는 진해구 국민운동단체 회관 매입을 조속히 마무리해 내년에는 진해구 지역의 바르게살기운동, 새마을, 자유총연맹 등 국민운동단체가 자리를 잡고 더욱 활발하게 추진할 수 있도록 힘을 실어주기를 바란다고 건의했다.
홍남표 시장은 “일선에서 시민을 위해 헌신하는 바르게살기운동 회원분들이 바로 창원특례시 성장의 원동력”이라며 “바르게살기운동 협의회가 더욱 내실 있는 활동을 펼칠 수 있도록 올해 추가 예산을 확보하여 연내에 매입 절차를 마무리 하도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
한편 릴레이 간담회는 지난 7일부터 다음 달 2일까지 총 7개 주요 단체와 진행되며, 각 단체 임원진들이 식사 자리를 가지며 소통과 공감의 장을 이어갈 예정이다.
