(브레이크뉴스인천 문광수 기자) 부천시가 15일 취업이 어려운 중장년층에게 일자리를 제공하고, 자원 재생으로 공유경제를 실현하기 위해 단비 우산수리 재생사업을 진행하고 있다고 밝혔다.
부천시에 따르면, 공공일자리사업의 일환으로 추진한 단비 우산수리 재생사업은 지난 2018년 시범운영을 시작으로 6년째 진행되고 있으며 지금까지 우산수리 기술자 양성에 노력한 결과 총 4,200점 이상의 우산이 수리 부품과 재생 우산으로 재탄생했고 지난해 수거된 우산만 900여 개에 이른다.
단비 우산수리 재생사업은 우산은 일상생활 속 필수품이지만 단순한 부품 하나 정도의 고장만으로 쉽게 버려지거나 사용하지 못한 채 방치되고 있으며 고장이 난 우산은 재활용 쓰레기로 분리배출하기 어렵다는 문제도 있어 이러한 문제의식을 바탕으로 해결 방안을 마련하기 위해 기획됐다.
사업 기간 동안 시민들로부터 수거된 우산 중 고치기 어려운 우산과 기부받은 폐우산은 부품을 분리해 재생 우산 수리용 재료로 재활용된다.
올해는 오는 3월 2일부터 원미어울마당 4층(이용시간 오전 10시~오후 4시)과 송내북부역 단비 우산수리센터 2호점(이용시간 오전 9시~오후 6시)에서 시민 누구나 우산을 수리받을 수 있으며 사용이 어려운 고장 난 우산도 기부할 수 있다.
