안양시 다문화·비다문화가족이 함께하는 ‘모두가족봉사단’이 발대식을 갖고 2023년 본격적인 봉사활동에 나섰다.
안양시가족센터(센터장 오연주)는 지난 2월 25일 동안구청 별관 3층 강당에서 ‘7기 모두가족봉사단’ 발대식을 개최했다.
안양시 7기 모두가족봉사단 다문화·비다문화 총 44가족 145명은 발대식에서 봉사단원으로서의 마음가짐, 소망 또는 나에게 쓰는 편지 등의 내용을 담은 타임캡슐 만들기를 하며 봉사활동의 의지를 다졌다.
모두가족봉사단은 3월 응급처치 교육, 봉사자 소양 교육을 시작으로, 무료급식 봉사, 지역 정화봉사, 지역사회 나눔봉사 등을 진행할 예정이다.
이번 발대식에 참여한 한 다문화가족은 “누군가에게 도움이 될 수 있다는 생각에 매우 설렜다”며, “특히, 아이들과 함께 지역사회의 구성원으로 이웃에게 나눔을 실천하게 돼 기쁘다”고 말했다.
오연주 안양시가족센터장은 “오늘 발대식은 신규 단원 가족들의 새로운 출발을 알리고 의지를 다지는 뜻깊은 시간이었다”며, “봉사활동을 통해 다문화·비다문화가족이 서로 존중하는 지역사회를 만들고, 나눔을 실천하며 지역사회 구성원으로서의 자긍심을 갖게 되길 바란다”고 말했다.
안양시건강가정·다문화가족지원센터는 여성가족부 가족사업안내 지침에 따라 올해부터 ‘안양시가족센터’로 명칭을 변경하고 지역사회를 구성하는 다양한 가족을 대상으로 폭넓은 서비스를 제공한다.
