브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 대우건설은 알제리 전력생산공사가 발주한 라스지넷 가스복합화력발전소 건설공사(RDPP PJ : Ras Djinet Combined Cycle Power Plant PJ)의 예비준공확인서(PAC: Provisional Acceptance Certificate)를 접수했다고 3일 밝혔다.
예비준공확인서는 발주처에서 모든 공사가 마무리됐음을 승인할 때 발급하는 증명서다.
알제리 라스지넷 가스복합화력발전소는 2013년 계약이 체결된 가스복합화력발전소 건설공사로 알제리 수도 알제에서 동쪽으로 약 65km 떨어진 부메르데스(Boumerdès)주 깝 지넷(Cap Djinet) 지역에 1200MW급(400MW급 3기)의 대형 가스복합발전소를 건설하는 프로젝트다.
알제리 전기가스공사 소넬가즈(Sonelgaz)의 전력생산 계열사인 알제리 전력생산공사(SPE: Société Algérienne de Production d’Electricité)가 발주한 사업으로 도급금액은 약 9844억 원 규모이다.
그러나 해당 사업은 2012년 말 공사를 시작했으나 발주처가 공급하는 토목공사 및 건축공사가 지연됐고, 이후 코로나19 팬데믹까지 영향을 끼쳐 공사기간이 연장돼 왔다.
대우건설 관계자는 “최악의 대외환경 속에서도 직원들의 끈기와 인내를 통해 공사를 지속해왔으며, 이번 PAC 접수를 통해 회사의 신뢰성과 프로젝트 수행력을 인정받게 됐다”며 “해외사업의 중요성이 높아지고 있는 현 시점에서 이러한 신뢰와 기술력은 큰 자양분이 될 수 있을 것으로 기대한다”고 말했다.
