세종시의회, 누리콜 서비스 개선 방안 간담회

세종지역 누리콜(장애인콜택시) 서비스 개선을 위한 간담회가 14일 열렸다

세종시의회 산업건설위원회(위원장 이순열)는 이날 시의회 대회의실에서 간담회를 갖고 개선 방안 마련에 들어갔다.

간담회에는 이순열 산업건설위원장을 비롯한 산업건설위원회 소속 위원들과 누리콜 이용자연대, 세종시청 교통과 및 세종도시교통공사 등 20여명이 참석했다.

앞서 세종시는 지난해 10월 선착순 예약방식의 문제점 개선과 교통약자의 이용기회 확대를 위해 누리콜 운행방식을 위치 기반 즉시 호출제(바로콜)로 전환했으나 배차시간 단축을 위한 방안과 장시간 대기로 인한 이용자 불편에 대한 개선방안이 제기돼왔다.

산건위는 간담회에서 개진된 의견들을 토대로, 세종시청과 도시교통공사에서는 추후 운전원 추가 채용 및 차량 추가 구입과 더불어, 문자 전송 시스템 개선 등을 진행할 예정이다.

이순열 위원장은 “장애인 등 이동이 불편한 교통약자에 대해 보다 안전하고 쾌적한 교통수단 이용 환경을 제공하기 위하여 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.
