인천시에 따르면, 관광과 마이스(MICE) 분야 스타트업(신생 창업기업)의 출발과 성장을 지원하기 위해 추진하는 이번 공모는 창업 7년 이내의 관광·MICE 스타트업과 예비 창업자를 대상으로 진행된다.
모집 분야는 예비(예비/재창업자), 초기(창업 3년 이내), 도약(창업 3년 초과 7년 이내), 지역상생(한국관광공사 관광벤처기업 또는 타 지역 관광기업지원센터 인증 스타트업), 성장플러스+(2020~2022년 인천관광기업지원센터·MICE지원센터 선정 스타트업) 등 5개다.
성장플러스+ 분야는 과거 관광기업지원센터와 MICE지원센터에서 발굴한 스타트업의 성장을 계속 지원하기 위해 올해 처음 도입된 분야다.
참가 신청은 인천관광기업지원센터 홈페이지에서 신청양식을 내려받아 작성한 후, 4월 24일 오후 4시까지 이메일로 제출하면 된다.
1차 서류심사와 2차 발표심사를 거쳐 5개 분야에서 총 15개 내외의 관광·MICE 스타트업을 선정할 계획이며, 최종 선정 결과는 5월 12일 이후 홈페이지에 공개될 예정이다.
공모에 선정된 후 ‘사업화 지원협약’을 체결한 기업에게는 최대 5천만 원의 사업화 자금과 인천관광기업지원센터 사무공간 입주 혜택이 제공된다.
또, 선정된 스타트업을 대상으로 엑셀러레이팅 프로그램이 별도로 마련돼 있으며, 실제 투자유치를 위한 데모데이도 하반기에 예정돼 있다.

인천시에 따르면, 시는 대상사업 선정에 앞서 인천시는 공공갈등을 예방하고 선제적으로 대응하기 위해 시의 주요 정책 사업, 민원 빈발 사업 등에 대한 부서별 자체 갈등진단을 실시하고, 갈등관리전문가와 법률자문가로 구성된 갈등관리추진위원회로부터 의견을 얻은 바 있다.
이날 공론화·갈등관리위원회(이하 위원회)는 부서별 자체진단 결과 및 갈등관리추진위원회 자문 내용을 토대로 갈등진단 대상 사업 심의를 통해 지난해 중점갈등관리 대상사업 중 도시형 수소생산 클러스터 조성, 도심공공주택복합사업(제물포역, 굴포천역, 동암역), 서부권 자원순환센터 건립사업, 인천 해상풍력발전단지 조성사업, 제3보급단 등 군부대 이전지역 개발, 지하도상가 관리 운영 제도 개선 조례개정, 캠프마켓 공원조성 사업, 효성구역 도시개발사업 등 8건(가나다순)을 올해 중점갈등관리 대상사업에 재포함시켜 지속적으로 관리해 가기로 했다.
