[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 ‘진주시 빈집 정비를 위한 지원조례’와 ‘진주시 건축물관리 조례’ 일부 개정안을 입법예고했다고 6일 밝혔다.
이번 진주시의 개정안은 생활 주변 안전사각지대로 대두되고 있는 시설물(빈집, 굴뚝)에 대해 공공차원에서 적극적으로 해결방안을 마련하기 위해서다.
현재 도시지역 빈집은 ‘빈집 및 소규모 주택 정비에 관한 법률’에 따라, 농촌지역 빈집은 ‘농어촌정비법’에 따라 이원화돼 관리되고 있다.
진주시는 도시지역 빈집에 대해 지난 2022년부터 자체 재원을 확보해 빈집정비지원사업을 추진하고, 농촌 빈집에 대해서는 매년 경남도 도비 보조사업으로 철거를 지원하고 있다.
