KT&G가 오늘부터 온라인 배당 조회 서비스를 시작한다.
KT&G는 기존 주주에게 우편으로 발송하던 배당 통지서를 PC 및 모바일에서 실시간으로 확인 가능한 온라인 조회 서비스로 대체해 주주들이 손쉽게 배당 정보를 확인 할 수 있도록 한다고 10일 밝혔다.
10일부터 내달 5일까지 진행되는 이번 온라인 배당 조회 서비스는 KT&G 홈페이지에서 간단한 회원가입 및 주주 인증 후 이용할 수 있다.
이를 통해 2022년도 결산 배당일 기준 KT&G 보유 주식에 따른 배당금 내역을 실시간으로 확인할 수 있다. 이후에도 배당일 전후 해당 서비스를 통해 배당 관련 정보를 제공받을 수 있다.
이번 온라인 조회 서비스 도입으로 KT&G는 매년 17만명이 넘는 주주들에게 배당 정보를 우편으로 배송하는 과정에서 발생하는 종이 사용을 줄여 ESG 경영 실천을 강화한다는 입장이다.
한편, KT&G는 지난 3월 28일 개최된 제36회 정기주주총회에서 현금배당 주당 5,000원을 결의했다. 이는 배당성향 57.8%에 해당한다.
KT&G 관계자는 “투자자들의 편의성을 높이고 ESG 경영 실천에 동참하고자 온라인 배당 조회 서비스를 도입했다”며 “앞으로도 시장과 적극적으로 소통하고 주주가치 제고를 위해 다방면으로 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
