CJ푸드빌은 뚜레쥬르, 빕스, 더플레이스, 제일제면소 등 전국 직∙가맹점 매장에 애플페이 결제를 위한 비접촉 방식(NFC) 멀티 패드 단말기 도입을 완료했다.
이를 통해 소비자들에게 간편하면서도 안전한 결제 서비스를 제공하고, CJ푸드빌의 베이커리 및 외식 매장 이용 편의성과 만족도를 높일 것으로 기대된다.
애플페이는 아이폰, 아이패드 등 애플 기기에 신용카드 또는 체크카드를 등록하면 실물 카드 없이도 결제할 수 있도록 지원하는 비접촉식 간편결제 서비스다.
애플페이로 결제할 시 기기의 측면 버튼(또는 Touch ID 기기의 경우 홈 버튼)을 두 번 누른 뒤 아이폰 또는 애플워치를 결제 단말기 근처에 가까이 대면 결제가 이뤄진다.
