세종시가 2023년도 제1회 추가경정예산안을 2,047억 원 규모로 편성했다.
이번 추경은 여민전 캐시백 지원 예산·수소버스 구입비 등을 반영하고 농어민수당·영아수당, 장애인 전문치과 설치비가 포함됐다. 2027 하계세계대학경기대회 준비를 위해 대평동 체육시설부지 매입·조직위 운영비 출연금도 담았다.
최민호 세종시장은 15일 시청 정음실에서 이 같은 내용을 포함하는 ‘2023년도 제1회 추가경정예산안 편성’에 대해 발표했다
발표에 따르면 1차 추경은 ▲지역경제 활성화, ▲대중교통혁신 지원, ▲촘촘한 복지 안전망 구축, ▲문화·체육 기반 조성 사업 위주로 편성했다.
먼저 최 시장은 올해 총 예산은 본예산 2조 28억 원을 포함해 총 2조 2,075억 원"이라며 "향후 어려운 재정 상황을 대비하기 위해 187억 원을 통합재정안정화기금에 처음으로 적립하겠다"고 말했다.
지역경제 활성화를 위해 △세종스마트 국가산단 조성 출자금 300억 원,△지역화폐 여민전 캐시백 추가 69억 원, △중소·중견기업 매출채권 보험료 2,000만 원, △농업인 수당 35억 원 등을 새롭게 편성했다.
대중교통혁신을 지원하기 위해 △노선개편에 따른 수소버스 34대 증차 구입 예산 151억 원, △버스-BRT-도시철도 통합환승 요금체계 시스템 구축 예산 7억8천만 원, △상습정체 구간 양지중 및 은하수 교차로 개선사업 5억 원, △ 시내버스 운행손실에 대한 재정보조 82억 원, △화물·여객 운송업계 유가보조금 지원 15억 원, △빗돌터널 정밀안전진단 및 겨울철 자동염수 분사장치 설치 2억7억천만 원을 각각 반영했다.

△2025 국제정원도시박람회 기반 마련 설계 용역비 3억 원, △이응다리 수변공원 세종 빛 축제 운영 4억 원, △금강 환경·수질·친수를 위한 지역맞춤형 하천 사업비 10억 원, △조치원 시민운동장 야외화장실 설치 및 유지관리 2억 원, △ 비암사 극락보전 화장실 조성에 2억9천만 원, △천연기념물 임난수 은행나무의 생육환경 개선과 보수치료 사업 1억 원 등이 포함됐다.
최민호 시장은 " 이번 추경은 무리한 예산이거난 불합리한 예산은 없다"면서"예산이 꼭 필요한 곳에 시의적절하게 집행될 수 있도록 하겠다”고 말했다.
한편, 이번 추경안은 시의회 상임위원회별 예비심사와 예산결산특별위원회 심의를 거쳐 6월 27일 본회의에서 최종 확정된다.
